A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. It is relatively simple to create and manage a blog.
You should consider developing a blog (as an alternative to a wiki) as a way to organise all your lesson notes and assignments. Having your notes and assignments online means they can be accessed from any computer and will not be lost if your hard drive crashes!
Blogs are useful sources of information and discussion on a whole range of different topics. Here are some examples:
- IB Geography Blog - A blog contains resources aimed at supporting the IB geography course at St Andrew's College.
- geogalot - updates to geographyalltheway.com.
- Treehugger - media outlet dedicated to driving sustainability mainstream.
