Diigo – I think this is really powerful

I was pointed towards Diigo by a colleague who works for the IB – due to my love of the social bookmarking service Delicious.

Diigo is a bit like Delicious on steroids – mainly due to the social and group nature of Diigo being stronger than that in Delicious.  You can also annotate webpages.  One of the things I really like about it is the ability to set up groups but to then control the tags used when submitting items to the group.  Therefore the group ‘owner’ can set tags that may link to syllabus points etc – this means that everything in the group is tagged the same way and therefore more organised and easier to search.

It would be great to have more geographers using Diigo – have a look at the video and sign up!
